Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cups jasmine rice

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by chopping garlic and green onions; measure out soy sauce and brown sugar.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
  4. Once the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C), pour the glaze over it and simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
