Description

A quick and easy sautéed spinach and mushrooms recipe, perfect as a side dish.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the spinach thoroughly and set aside.
  2. Clean mushrooms with a damp cloth and slice.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in sliced mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Gradually add spinach, tossing gently until wilted (about 2-3 minutes).
  7. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve warm.
