Easy and delicious hummus made from garbanzo beans.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (16 oz) can Garbanzo Beans, Drained
- 3 tbsp Tahini
- 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
- 1 clove Garlic, Minced
- 1/8 tsp Cumin
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Water to taste
Instructions
- Place drained garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, and salt in a food processor.
- Add enough water to just below the level of the garbanzo’s.
- Puree and blend well.
- If you like a thinner consistency, just add more water and continue to blend until you reach desired thickness.
Notes
- Serve with pita bread or fresh vegetables.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
