Delicious chocolate peanut butter balls made with Gewürz-Spekulatius cookies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 250 g Gewürz-Spekulatius
  • 200 g peanut butter
  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 5 g coconut fat
  • Zest of one organic orange
  • Coarse sea salt (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Finely grind 250 g Gewürz-Spekulatius using a food processor.
  2. Add 200 g peanut butter and the zest of one organic orange; knead into a dough.
  3. Form small balls (about 10 g) from the dough.
  4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
  5. Roll the chilled balls again to make them smooth and round.
  6. Melt 200 g dark chocolate with 5 g coconut fat in a water bath.
  7. Dip the balls into the chocolate and place them on a cooling rack. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
  8. Let them dry completely, ideally overnight, and store in airtight containers.

Notes

  • For a stronger orange flavor, increase the amount of zest.
  • These can be stored in the fridge for a week in an airtight container.
