Description

These Bang Bang Chicken Sliders are deliciously addictive with a perfect balance of creamy richness and heat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider buns
  • 3 cups cooked crispy chicken, chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Bang Bang Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth and creamy. The sauce is what makes Jimmy’s Bang Bang Chicken Sliders so addictive. It has that creamy richness balanced with just enough heat to keep everyone reaching for another bite.
  2. Mix the Chicken Filling: Place the chopped crispy chicken into a large bowl. Pour most of the bang bang sauce over the chicken, reserving a few spoonfuls for drizzling later. Mix until every piece of chicken is coated in the creamy sauce. The aroma alone makes it hard not to sneak a taste before assembling the sliders.
  3. Assemble the Sliders: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally without separating the individual rolls. Place the bottom half into a greased baking dish. Spread the chicken mixture evenly across the buns. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese generously over the top. Place the top buns over the filling.
  4. Add the Buttery Topping: In a small bowl, combine melted butter and garlic powder. Brush the mixture over the tops of the buns. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the sliders for extra flavor and texture.
  5. Bake Until Golden: Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 5–7 minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted beautifully. Drizzle the reserved bang bang sauce over the warm sliders and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the spice level by adding more or less sriracha sauce.
  • These sliders can be made ahead and baked just before serving.
