Description

This delicious Pizza Bake layers savory ingredients for a quick weeknight dinner that everyone will love.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 package (19 oz.) turkey Italian sausage
  • 1 jar (13 oz.) Rao’s Pizza Sauce
  • 5 Folios Parmesan Cheese Wraps
  • 2 cups grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • 42 slices Hormel 25% reduced fat pepperoni
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425F/220C. Spray a 9″ X 13″ baking dish with olive oil or non-stick spray.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a non-stick frying pan and cook the Italian sausage until browned.
  3. Add Rao’s Pizza Sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes, until slightly thickened.
  4. Cut the Folios Cheese Wraps in half and arrange them along the edge of the baking dish.
  5. Spread half of the sausage/sauce mixture over the Folios.
  6. Top with 1 cup of grated Mozzarella cheese, then 21 pieces of pepperoni and a pinch of oregano.
  7. Make another layer with Folios, sausage/sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and oregano.
  8. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbling hot.
  9. Serve the Pizza Bake hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a low-carb option, consider using low-carb tortillas instead of Folios.
  • Check the Pizza Bake after 15 minutes to prevent overcooking.
