Description

A delicious tropical smoothie bowl packed with frozen fruits and superfoods.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 bananas (frozen)
  • ½ cup mango (frozen)
  • 1 ½ cups pineapple (frozen)
  • ½ cup spinach (loosely packed)
  • 1 cup coconut cream
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon blue spirulina powder
  • ½ cup coconut milk (divided, as needed)
  • mango chunks, pineapple chunks, shredded coconut, granola, flax seeds, chia seeds, hemp seeds, honey, and/or cacao nibs

Instructions

  1. Add the bananas, mango, pineapple, spinach, coconut cream, honey, and blue spirulina to a blender or food processor.
  2. Pour in about 1/4 cup of coconut milk to start.
  3. Blend on low to medium speed until smooth.
  4. Add additional coconut milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the mixture is thick and spoonable.
  5. Check the color and texture. If the mixture looks too yellow, add a small pinch of blue spirulina or a bit more spinach. If it looks too dark, blend in an extra spoonful of coconut cream.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  7. Divide evenly between two bowls and add desired toppings.

Notes

  • This smoothie bowl is perfect for breakfast or a healthy snack.
  • Adjust the sweetness by modifying the amount of honey.
